It's National Tree Day for schools around the country on July 28th. This national event has been running for over 20 years now and has a big focus on connecting people with each other and their local environment. We will be celebrating this national day with a planting event at Waterview Sanctuary, on the edges of Pitt Water Orielton Lagoon (Ramsar listed wetlands). Conservation Volunteers has engaged both Ingham staff and support along with Sorell School students to plant around 250 native species in the area.
Come along and be a part of this great National Tree Day event!
