Perth’s wetlands and catchments are valuable natural assets, providing habitat for ecologically important aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna. Wetland vegetation also provides an important filtering service, removing pollutants such as nutrients, organic and inorganic matter and some pathogens before the water flows out into our rivers and oceans! Quality wetlands equal quality water all round!
We will be assisting the Murdoch Environmental Restoration Group to undertake planting in the Conservation Category Melaleuca Swamp, south of the campus. This pristine wetland has a high conservation value and is surrounded by a large mixture of healthy and disturbed vegetation.
(If project is fully booked online call our Perth office on 9335 2777 and one of our friendly staff will help you book onto the project)
