Help us restore Papatuuaanuku by taking care of our native trees in Mount Victoria.
Do you want to help create habitat for our native lizards, insects, and birds such as tui and kaka? Lend a hand with pest weed and predator control at the Forest at the Heart of Wellington on Mount Victoria. Volunteering is a great way to get to know Wellington's natural places and to meet new people. Tools, training, and transportation provided.
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.
What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, an experienced team leader, training.
