Come and help improve important koala habitat and valuable coastal wetlands at Rothwell. Working on a local Council reserve, this project aims to improve biodiversity and habitat values of reserve along the Moreton Bay Rail Link, adjacent to Saltwater Creek. This reserve forms part of Hays Inlet and the Ramsar listed Moreton Bay. Activities on the day include maintenance of a previously revegetated area (weed control, assisting with vegetation surveys) and litter/marine debris clean up. Remember to wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, enclosed shoes, a hat, sunglasses and please bring your lunch and plenty of water.
If this project is fully booked but you are able to make your way to and from the project site we would love to have you on board, simply contact our Brisbane office via phone or email and we can manually add you on to the project.
