Conservation Volunteers are currently exploring whether Bandicoots or Antechinus call Londonderry Woodland Reserve home. Over the past month we have placed dozens of footprint tunnels, with ink pads to record movements across the site. We are seeking volunteers to help us retrieve these modern monitoring devices and interpret footprints under the guidance of our ecologist and project partner.
If you’re interested in animal behaviour or are keen to explore beautiful Londonderry Woodland Reserve then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Please note that we won’t be handling Bandicoots or Antechinus.
Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Londonderry Woodland and the creatures that call this site home. Join other volunteers for morning tea and lunch under the tree-top canopy and be a part of this unique monitoring activity.
