This project is a stone’s throw from the pristine Marion Bay Beach on a property is a neighbour to the Falls Festival site, was previously used for farming and is in need of some rejuvenation and care.
As part of a large plan to re-establish native bushland on the property, volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with vegetation management activities such as invasive weed removal from the dunes and hind dunes. By undertaking these activities, the team is giving native vegetation the chance to flourish. A great opportunity to spend a day in the outdoors making a significant contribution towards protecting Tasmania’s biodiversity.
