Come and help our volunteer teams as we contribute to revegetation efforts within the Werribee West Treatment Plant. We will be mulching around native plants to supress weed growth, maintain moisture and enhance biodiversity in the area. Come give us a hand.
The Western Treatment Plant is famous for its migratory and resident birds. Over 270 species have been recorded on site, and there is a good chance that while you are working to improve habitat at the Treatment Plant you will have eagles soaring above your head!
This project will be maintaining previously planted revegetation sites to improve the habitat for the many bird species that call the Western Treatment Plant home.
