North West Bay River flows from Longley to Margate falling over 300m in its 13km length. Kingborough Council plans to enhance the natural environment along the River and Conservation Volunteers will participate in this plan by removing hard to access environmental weeds. The initial project will be split into three days, targeting Spanish Heath and Elisha's Tears. The objective is to reduce the impact of these weeds and to create space for the Council to be able to develop a walking track along this beautiful part of Tasmania.
