Join us as we help plant hundreds of native trees in Karori's stunning natural reserves- either Appleton Park or Monaghan Reserve. We are creating more habitat for the native birds that are increasingly venturing outside of Zealandia's protective fence, and creating more native forest for Wellingtonians to enjoy.
If you enjoy the outdoors and getting your hands dirty, join us for our upcoming working bee where we will be planting native trees in sites that would otherwise be covered by invasive weeds.
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots are essential, long sleeves and pants, jacket, hat/beanie, bring a water bottle and lunch.
What we provide: gloves, tools, an experienced team leader and free transport to/from project if required - get in touch to book a seat!
