CVA is assisting our partners the Molonglo Catchment group in a Kangaroo Grazing study near Googong NSW. Increasing Kangaroo populations stress areas of native natural temperate grasslands which are a threatened ecosystem. We will be assisting to build Kangaroo exclusion fencing to study the effect that Kangaroos have on these grasslands. If you are interested to learn some basics of fencing and take part in an interesting study, then this might be the project for you!
What you can Expect:
- Learning about environmental threats to the ACT and NSW, like kangaroos.
- Learning new skills like fence construction.
- Meeting new people.
- Being outdoors.
- Recognition of your efforts
