Just out of Launceston, we will be rehabilitating Jordons Creek, one of the many waterways that flow into the Tamar Estuary. Weeds, animal effluent, silt and development all have an impact on the estuary so we will be removing some gorse from the project site. We will be using loppers, hand saws and battery powered saws to cut and remove the gorse, then piling the gorse up for the land owner to burn at a later stage. So this is a chane for you to help make our local waterways a better place.
