Located within 15min from Brisbane’s CBD, CVA works to assist in the restoration and rehabilitation of the riparian area of the Colmslie Beach Reserve, which is situated on the banks of the Brisbane River. The works undertaken by your employees will build on works undertaken by CVA volunteers and a number of bushcare groups as part of the larger Brisbane River Restoration Project. The aim of this project is to increase the areas resilience to future flood events by maintaining and improving viable floristic species, diversity and structure. Activities may include a rubbish and debris clean up, site preparation (including weed control) and re-vegetation. of these sites into the future.
