Today we will head to the Hounville Township. The aim of this project is to reduce the threat posed to a highly significant woodland. This woodland which contains Eucalyptus ovata is a feeding ground and breeding area for swift parrots. Our project is to protect it from the threats it is under. To do this we will remove environmental weeds. These weeds change habitat structure, increase fire threats and could alow other unwanted species to invade this sensitive site.
