During this project volunteers will be engaging with students at a rural Primary School to construct drought proof planting boxes known as 'Wicking Beds'. Students will learn how to create an edible garden bed out of recycled materials and plant a variety of seeds of their choice. This is a chance to express their creativity by painting crafty designs on the sides of the beds and watching the seeds grow. With your help, we can create a bright, sustainable future for students and teach them how to grow their own edible plants and flowers.
Volunteers will learn craftsmanship skills and assist educating students on how to grow their own produce.
