Join us for revegetation activities in the village in the rainforest, Kuranda! This project will see volunteers supporting Kuranda Envirocare and local community revegetation sites. Activities will include transplanting Lomandra (a hardy and important rainforest plant) and weed control around existing plantings. Weeds will be removed by hand (no chemicals) as this is a frog friendly site! Groups have been working here over many years to establish good wildlife corridors in and around Kuranda to support the Cassowary and other unique wildlife of the area.
Come and join us for a day in the rainforest!
