Come and help us as we assist Friends of Yass Gorge and Yass Valley Council with biodiversity improvement activities in of Yass Gorge north of Canberra. The gorge has major conservation values, being a riparian corridor in good condition leading to an area of Natural Temperate Grassland, a Critically Endangered
Ecological Community. The activities will involve weed control over a stretch of the river. The weeds make it hard for native flora to survive. This much needed work will help to support the environmental value of the site for generations to come. For more information about the project please contact the Canberra office on 0262477770.
