Come and show your support for the environment by joining us at Dicky Beach for World Environment Day!
This is a free, nature-based, well-being initiative that aims to bring people together to contribute to their community through practical conservation activities to create cleaner, sustainable green spaces.
Working at Dicky Beach, CVA volunteers will be collecting marine debris, rehabilitating sand dunes and conducting vegetation monitoring activities. All debris that is collected will be recorded and the data will be provided to the Tangaroa Blue Foundation for analysis, a national database on marine debris which helps to identify source polluters.
