The Hamilton Bandicoot enclosure provides a safe haven for a thriving and very important colony of Eastern Barred Bandicoots. This enclosure is part of a larger project to recover the Eastern Barred bandicoot population which is now extinct in the wild.
What to wear:
- Long pants and long sleeved shirt
- Sturdy, enclosed shoes
- Wet weather gear
- Broad brimmed hat and wet weather gear (if needed)
What to bring:
- Lunch and bottle of water
What is provided:
- Tools and safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, sunscreen etc
- Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided each day
- Warrnambool pick up and drop off
