Wivenhoe Outlook is located just over an hour North East of Brisbane. This stunning location looks over the majestic Wivenhoe Dam and is adjacent to D'Aguilar National Park, making it an important conservation site for threatened wildlife including koalas, gliders and quolls.
Take in the picturesque views among stringybark trees and join CVA as we partner with Queensland Parks and Wildlife rangers to rehabilitate this site. Works will include the removal of lantana in overrun areas followed by planting native trees and help with the installation of minor infrastructure to protect sensitive conservation areas.
This project is a great way to network and gain hands on skills for a career in conservation while making a real difference for our environment. If this project is fully booked but you are able to make your way to and from the project site we would love to have you on board, simply contact our Brisbane office via phone or email and we can manually add you on to the project.
