Just 10 minutes drive from Darwin CBD, East Point Reserve is one of the largest reserves in the Darwin area. As well as providing an invaluable green space for a wide variety of recreational activities, the 200 hectare park is also home to an impressive range of plants and animals, from the leafy monsoon forest to the hundreds of agile wallabies.
During our sessions, we will be under the shady forest canopy planting seedlings, removing weeds while walking out to the mangroves, or strolling along the beach to pick up marine debris, all while getting some fresh air, a bit of exercise and enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of East Point Reserve. We'll stop at the halfway point to have some delicious refreshments (tea/coffee, crackers with cheese and dip, and assorted fruit) as you gaze out over the bright blue ocean.
If you have any troubles booking online, please contact the office on 8981 3206, or email darwin@cva.org.au and we are happy to register you.
