Boral and Conservation Volunteers are teaming up with Glenorie Public School to restore Sydney Turpentine Ironbark forest near the school grounds. Sydney Turpentine Forest is an important and endangered ecological community supporting a wide variety of native flora and fauna.
As part the day, volunteers may remove invasive weeds, restore the frog pond and install information signage which will help preserve this forest for students and the local community.
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Make sure you book your spot online. Spaces are limited and they do fill up!
- We offer a free pick and drop off at Central Station for each project.
- No previous experience is required. We will provide you with all the know-how and safety info on site.
- We can provide you with a certificate of appreciation for coming along and helping out. (Just ask your Team Leader on the day!)
