Glen Huon Dairy is one of Tasmania’s southern most working dairy farms, and the only organic dairy in Southern Tasmania and they supply milk to Bruny Island Cheese Co to make their delicious cheeses! The farm is about to embark on a huge conservation program, with Conservation Volunteers on board as a partner.
Today we’ll be starting the first of over 6000 plants to be planted along 3 waterways on the farm.
We’re excited to be partnering on this long term conservation program in picturesque Glen Huon and can’t wait to watch the property evolve into a productive farm, which is also a haven for local wildlife! Who knows you might even be lucky enough to get a cheese tasting.
