Have you been to the Highbury Aqueduct Reserve?
Did you even know that it existed?
The Highbury Aqueduct Reserve is an important urban biodiversity corridor with newly opened walking trails that create a linkage of paths to connect with the River Torrens walking trails. It was designed for the local community and CVA would like to invite you to join us to explore this beautiful site.
On our projects you will enjoy the natural environment and company of like-minded people, while undertaking a variety of the following practical conservation activities:
- Plant and bird surveys
- Seed collection
- Habitat enhancement
- Learn about Pioneer Community Garden
- Leisurely trail walks and maintenance
- GPS vegetation mapping
This is your backyard! So meet us on-site between 12:30 and 3:30pm.
