Have you been to the Highbury Aqueduct Reserve?
Did you even know that it existed?
The Highbury Aqueduct Reserve is an important urban biodiversity corridor with newly opened walking trails that create a linkage of paths to connect with the River Torrens walking trails. It was designed for the local community and CVA would like to invite you to join us to explore this beautiful site.
On our projects you will enjoy the natural environment and company of like-minded people, while undertaking a variety of the following practical conservation activities:
- Plant and bird surveys
- Seed collection
- Habitat enhancement
- Learn about Pioneer Community Garden
- Leisurely trail walks and maintenance
- GPS vegetation mapping
This is your backyard! So meet us on-site between 12:30 and 3:30pm.

Projects take place in urban, regional and remote areas, and include tree planting, seed collection, weed control, flora and fauna surveys, building tracks and trails, fencing, and heritage restoration. See below for details of one of our conservation projects, or search for projects near you.
