Join us for a planting day on Mount Victoria and help create a Forest at the Heart of Wellington. The Rotary Club has already planted over 40,000 trees! This projects complements and supports community-led pest control programmes, which will create important new habitat for native birds which are increasingly venturing beyond the protective fence of Zealandia.

What to wear/bring: Sturdy boots are essential, long sleeves, and long trousers. Ensure you pack warm clothes such as a jacket, beanie, jumper and a rain jacket to protect you against wind and rain. Bring a full water bottle and snacks!

What we provide: a fully trained team leader, gloves, tools and training. Free transport to and from the city centre is available (contact us to arrange a pick-up).

So get outside and enjoy the best of the winter weather and help increase native biodiversity in our urban centre!
