A Christcurch City Council reserve on the true right bank of the Opawaho Heathcote River that is supported by neighbors and others interested in maintaining 1990 and 2000 schools plantings, expanding the extent and diversity of the indigenous plants, admire the oak and ash woodland and work to raise the profile of the wetland turf, the original 80 to 40year old native trees planted by former landowners.
