The Brisbane Ranges National Park is located around an hour's drive from Melbourne, and is distinguished by its unusual geology which has preserve plants which have long vanished from other parts of the region. Native wildflowers are plentiful with fantastic walking tracks to discover. Conservation Volunteers will be focused on removing the invasive Sallow Wattle (Acacia longifolia) and complete some GPS mapping of the area, in order to assist with the maintenance of the unique environment.
You don't need to bring any particular skills with you, just your enthusiasm and a green thumb. We'll all work together as a team to bring this site back to its original beauty.
