Enriching Dog Rocks' Biodiversity

Preserved as a sanctuary since 1856, Dog Rocks has become a highly important conservation area for our rapidly disapearing flora and fauna.

Comprised of 83 hectares bordering the Moorabool River, previous owners George and Lit Belcher, knew the environmental importance of such a biologically diverse space and, as such, negotiated a Trust for Nature covenant to ensure it is protected for future generations.

Help us continue the ongoing efforts to maintain a rich biological ecosystem by removing invasive weeds such as Boneseed and Galenia.

We will provide transport from South Geelong, departing at 8.00am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.

What to wear:

• Long pants and long sleeved shirt
• Sturdy, enclosed shoes

What to bring:

• Lunch and bottle of water
• Broad brimmed hat and wet weather gear (if needed)

What is provided:

• Tools and safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, sunscreen etc
• Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided each day
• Pick up and drop off as detailed above
