Longford is an interesting town just out of Launceston. It hosted two Australian Grand Prix races, it is the birthplace of author Richard Flanagan, and the resting place of famous artist Tom Roberts. Our team will be planting trees to expand the vegetation corridor near where the Sth Esk and Macquarie rivers meet.
We will be concentrating on tree planting, although we may also repair fencing and remove old tree guards. This project takes place on farmland, so be prepared for plenty of walking as well as digging and planting.
