Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve is a 4km long sand spit that extends into Swan Bay and contains the last remaining stand of coastal woodlands on the Bellarine Peninsula. Swan Bay is a tidal marine area on the Bellarine Peninsula that contains extensive intertidal mud flats with large seagrass beds. Swan Bay is an important location for waterbirds and migratory waders and is listed on the Convention of Wetlands of International Importance.

Edwards Point also protects a vast salt marsh that provide food for the critically endangered Orange-bellied Parrot as they spend winter in this region.

Join us to preserve this natural wonder through weed removal, rubbish collection and walking track maintenance activities.
