  • Discover the tropical rainforests and beaches of the Cassoway Coast, including the palm-fringed stretch of Mission Beach
  • Volunteer to create habitat for threatened species such as the Southern Cassowary and Mahogany Glider
  • Wildlife spotting, including the Threatened Southern Cassowary and Estuarine Crocodiles 
  • Rainforest Walk and lookout at Murray Falls inside the Girramay National Park
  • Explore the beautiful swimming hole at Babinda Boulders, and learn of the Traditional Aboriginal Dreamtime Story focused on this magical place surrounded by rainforest


Program Details

Duration: 5 days / 4 nights - Monday to Friday
Meeting Location: Cairns  
Departs: 8am Nomads Backpacker Hostel - 341 Lake St, Cairns
Return Time: 4:00pm, Cairns City 
Price: A$995 per person

  • Experienced Conservation Volunteers team leader
  • Return transfers from Cairns 
  • 4 nights’ camping accommodation (tents, stretcher beds and camp mats provided) 
  • Three meals a day from lunch day 1 to lunch day 5
