Conservation Volunteers Australia in collaboration with YMCA Ballarat and City of Ballarat will be assisting to construct 12 additional Vegetable garden beds at the Delacombe Community Hub.

Once the beds are established they will be available for all of the community to come and collect fresh vegetables for use at home. The role of the community garden is to assist people in need by providing a place in the community where there is food readily available. Community members can pick and eat food from the garden as required.

We need your help to make this happen!

Activities will include site preparation, path construction, weeding and planting out the newly installed wicking beds.

We can provide transport from Ballarat Train station, departing at 9.00am and returning around 3.30pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
