Help create an outdoor classroom for the tauira of Crofton Downs Primary School! On this day we will be improving access to the forest so students can learn about the natural world around them. Last year we planted hundreds of native plants that really need the weeds removed from their surroundings and mulched to help them to establish, there may be a few trees to plant too.
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.
What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, an experienced team leader, training. Get in touch to book a free pick-up from Wellington cbd.
This project starts at 9am and will finish around 3pm.
