Help create an outdoor classroom for the tauira of Crofton Downs Primary School! On this day we will be building steps and sections of the track to improve access to the forest which will be used as a nature trail where the students can learn about the natural world around them. Last year we planted hundreds of native plants that really need the weeds removed from their surroundings and mulched to help them to establish.
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.
What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, an experienced team leader, training. Get in touch to book a free pick-up from Wellington cbd.
This project starts at 9am and will finish around 3pm.
