Join us to protect natural habitat by removing invasive Blackberries a weed of "National Significance" due to its ability to quickly take over native vegetation, if not carefully managed. Especially, along riverbanks and creeklines, where it can form dense thickets creating ideal habitat for other invasive species such as Rabbits and Foxes.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the native flora and fauna of the area, only a short distance away from the beautiful John Forrest National Park while learning some plant identification skills and weed control methods, including hand-pulling and cut & swab depending on the size of the plant.
