Flat Rock Reserve is a coastal park that borders the Tamaki Estuary which eventually flows out into the Waitemata Harbour.
CVNZ has planted trees and carried out clean ups over the last few years to restore the biodiversity of the reserve and create a natural barrier to stop plastic and pollution entering the waterway.
We need volunteers for this - thats why this Saturday we are hosting a massive clean up to pick up micro and macro plastics, rubbish bags and other waste before it enters our oceans and impacts wildlife.
Join us for a solid clean up followed by a BBQ.
Meet on site at 10am finishing at 12!
