Boral supports Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) and school communities through the Biodiversity
Schools Program which aims to educate and inspire young Australians to take action for the future of their environment. CVA has been working with schools for many years to help them provide practical learning experiences in the environment for their students and does this by supporting schools with a supervised team of community volunteers. These volunteers provide extra support to allow schools to develop ‘Biodiversity Classrooms’.

Orange Grove Primary School was built on Bickley Brook, a tributary of the Canning River. The primary
school is surrounded by natural bush, which has a great influence on the school.

Come along for the day to help with the heavy lifting for a Noongar Yarning Circle and site preparation for the students to follow up with native vegetation plantings.
