Join us at the scenic Fluerieu peninsula, where we will be carrying maintenance of planting undertaken in for the protection of the Black Glossy Cockatoo at Cape Jervis the last stop before Kangaroo Island!
These days will focus on planting tree guard maintenance and weed control help protect the vegetation which will enhance the coastal communities that exist in this area and provide food for the Black Glossy Cockatoo.
Any time you can spare will be hugely appreciated and will help our vital work for birds, other wildlife and the environment.
It's fun! As a volunteer you can meet new people, learn new skills, improve your resume, see and help fantastic wildlife and get fit. It's also a great way to work towards a career in conservation.
