Join us on the Lower Bluff in St Leonards where we will be assisting with weed removal, spreading mulch and planting native plants as part of a large ongoing project to clean up the bluff.

The Lower Bluff is managed by Bellarine Bayside who are focusing on reducing the spread of introduced weeds and increasing the native plants along the entire foreshore. They have already removed a large amount of weeds and planted a variety of native seedlings in an effort to improve the biodiversity of the Lower Bluff, but there is more to be done. In particular, there have been native orchids found around the Lower Bluff, making it a high value site that requires protection and improvement.

Your assistance to improve this site will allow more animals to move into the area and create a nicer environment for both them and the local residents who utilise the parklands.

We will provide transport from South Geelong each day, departing at 8.15am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
