Conservation Volunteers will be holding an info session in the Hawkins Biodiversity Garden, followed by a talk on creating biodiversity in your garden.  Come and learn about what wildlife you can attract to a garden full of indigenous plants.

Conservation Volunteers are promoting the Hawkins Medical Clinic and CVA community engagement garden this month. We are raising awareness on how our community can have attractive gardens with a balanced ecosystem for all animals including bird, butterflies and frogs. Plant species included in the Hawkins garden are sustainable and low maintenance indigenous plants that have lots of colour with flowers all year round.

This session is for anyone who is interested in the activities of Conservation Volunteers, so please come and meet us and find out more about volunteering on our future projects, with opportunities to join teams locally, around Australia and overseas.

We are holding native plant raffles at our Hawkins Biodiversity Garden projects this November. All volunteers attending will go into the draw to win some native plants from our region to plant in their own garden. The talk and visit will last about an hour.
