A great getaway set in a beautiful location.
Rollings hills, starry nights, the sounds of birds and the fresh mountain air await you!
Chichester, located just 2hrs from Newcastle at Lower Barrington Tops is divided into two distinct areas, the western side centred on the Allyn River and the eastern side centred on the Telegherry River.
Forests in this area have been harvested many times for timber over many decades - some for over 150 years - so the forests you see today are regrowth forests.
This week the team will be assisting Forestry NSW in the Chichester State Forest improve community access by undertaking track maintenance tasks.
We leave monday morning from Newcastle, returning Friday afternoon.
Accomodation is in a forest lodge, please bring your sleeping bag and some warm clothes.
If you would like to find out more please contact our office on 0249612358
This is a great opportunity to take some time out while helping keep our Forests in tip top condition.
