Mugford Reserve is an interesting restoration project in the Red Zone and is a partnership between the Avon-Heathcote Estuary Ihutai Trust and the Christchurch City Council.

We'll be helping by adding to the plantings in the reserve, as well as plant maintenance tasks.

Time: 9:30am-12:30pm

Bring: Your own gardening gloves, sturdy boots or shoes, a water bottle and sunhat. As part of our health and safety requirements, CVNZ requires volunteers to wear long sleeves and trousers as protection from the sun and vegetation.

We’ll supply tools, but you are welcome to bring your own - hedge shears or a flax knife are most useful.

We'd love to see you there, so please register below, or contact Donna (dlusby@cvnz.org.nz or 021 457 568).

COVID-19: We will be following the advice from government and local council on all Covid-19 restrictions.
