Our Wild Places Program conserves, restores, rehabilitates and manages land including land owned by Conservation Volunteers or land owned by the community including parks and reserves. Of particular focus is the conservation of remnant reserves of native vegetation and the ecological corridors which link these reserves, allowing flora and fauna to move between suitable patches of habitat.

Fremantle is well known for its beaches, heritage buildings and bustling markets but did you know that the City of Fremantle is a One Planet Council, focusing on creating places that enable people to live, work and do business within the natural limits of the planet!

Join us as we assist with ongoing efforts to create, conserve and link habitats through revegetation plantings, weed management and sand dune maintenance activities. Leighton and Port Beach are currently focus sites for the City of Fremantle with extensive dune restoration occuring in the area.

Come along and enjoy the company of like-minded people and the knowledge that you are making a positive contribution to our local environment!
