Come join CVA, for a fantastic day of tree planting and watering on a site that has lots of environmental significance!
We are helping a local community group restore an area of degraded box-gum grassy woodland near Burra NSW. Box-Gum grassy woodland is a highly degraded endangered ecosystem that has been fragmented due to its suitability as farmland. This ecosystem is also home to a verity of threatened and endangered flora and fauna like the Scarlet Robin and Pink-tailed worm-lizard. All our efforts will the ecosystem flourish again and help save these species for future generations.
Come along and join us for what promises to be an engaging and interesting project.
What you can expect:
-Planting native trees
-Great views of Canberra and the Brindabella Mountains
-Being out in nature for a day
-Meeting interesting people
-Recognition of your efforts
