Much of Victoria’s Coastal Moonah Woodland has been cleared and there is only around 10% remaining of the original distribution of this important habitat. The small patches that do remain are being degraded by weeds and recreation.

Conservation Volunteers needs your help to reduce the impacts of weeds on this threatened vegetation type.

Join us at Buckley Park, along the foreshore between Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale. You will be learning to identify and remove some weed species that are threatening to take over the Coastal Moonah Woodland.

We will provide transport from South Geelong each day, departing at 8.15am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
