Join Conservation Volunteers NZ on our brand new Papakura Stream Restoration Project. This new project aims to restore and protect stream banks and water quality, as well as habitat for native species, through fencing (with Future Posts – recycled plastic fence posts), planting native trees, water quality monitoring, and community engagement on both public and private land.
On this day we will visit Brookby Equestrian as we help landowners to restore their wetlands and the nearby Papakura Stream by releasing thousands of newly planted native trees and shrubs from strangling weeds, giving them the best chance of survival.
