Join CVA at Mt Stradbroke Nature Refuge and lend a helping hand in the removal of noxious weeds which grow quickly and produce dense thickets of foliage that smothers native trees and affects the functioning of the native ecosystem.
Protecting and restoring biodiversity to create habitat and improve conditions for plants, animals and ecosystems is a core purpose of Nature Refuges in Queensland. Targeted and focused weed control at Mt Stradbroke Nature Refuge will provide invaluable support to the management of this property and ensure that it remains an area with high conservation value. The overall project outcome will be to restore the site to a standard where ongoing management can be maintained by the Nature Refuge property owner.
