The banks of the Derwent under the Bowen Bridge had a significant Boxthorn problem and recent control measures have left dead boxthorn down to the waterline. We'll be moving this dead weed off the banks of the Derwent , to ensure it doesn't float downstream and cause further envorinemntal damage.
A picturesque location to spend the day - you'll be able to watch boats sailing by while you're working.
