Each year, Conservation Volunteers Australia undertakes conservation work with/for local schools in the Cairns region under the Boral Connected Communities program. Volunteers will be undertaking a variety of activities, including tree preparation, planting and weed management both near and on school grounds.
This year, we will be helping St Andrews Catholic College and Redlynch State College with the following dates and activitites (tentative*):
- May 17th & 18th - Tree Preparation and Planting at a site located just behind St Andrews Catholic College
- August 2nd - Mulching of trees at site just behind St Andrews Catholic College
