Batman Park in Indented Head is a seasonal camping area along the Indented Head forshore. It has views of the Ozone Wreck, a paddle steamer that was sunk off Indented Head in 1925 to form a breakwater for small craft and sits 50m offshore.
The Ozone wreck is a great place to snorkel during summer and view the array of underwater life in our Bay, making this park an important area to manage to prevent runoff into Port Phillip Bay. Bellarine Bayside are working towards expanding the native vegetation and require help to remove woody weeds that are scattered throughout the park.
We will provide transport from South Geelong each day, departing at 8.15am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
