Flowing through the heart of Geelong, the Barwon River not only offers beautiful views and a picturesque backdrop to a number of recreational activities, but is also the life force responible for a large variety of ecosystems.

Increasing pressures from suburban expansion could result in a decline in river health, affecting countless habitats.

Teaming up with the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CCMA), we need your help to maintain the environmental health of significant sites along the Barwon River through such tasks as weed removal, tree planting and litter collection.

We will provide transport from South Geelong each day, departing at 8.00am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
